Any information of this kind is only used in aggregate form and none of the data includes any information that would enable you or any other individual to be identified. We use information in its aggregate form to monitor usage of the Service and review product demand as an aid to future development. We sometimes share this anonymous information with carefully selected third parties working with us to provide the Service.

 Use and Security of Personal Information

We collect Personal Information in order to provide the Services requested by You, (including providing customer support, resolving disputes, collecting fees, comparing information for accuracy and information security purposes, verifying your identity), and in order to comply with legal requirements under applicable law such as data retention and interception obligations.

We may use your e-mail for customer service (e.g. communication, sending tariffs, invoices, reminders or warnings regarding upcoming or late payments etc.). It is important that you are always able to receive such messages. For this reason, you are not be able to opt-out of receiving such service and billing messages unless you are no longer a PortaLinks customer (which can be done by deactivating your account).
Your e-mail address also can be used for sending you some marketing information. You have the ability to opt-out of receiving any marketing information as described below under “Marketing”.
We collect, process and use your Personal Information only if, to the extent and for as long as it is necessary to provide the Services or PortaLinks is required to do so under applicable law. We keep your Personal Information for a certain minimum period (depending on jurisdiction) but not to retain it beyond what is reasonably necessary. PortaLinks will not use your Personal Information for other purposes than providing the Services or in any other way than described above without your unambiguous prior consent thereto. We neither rent nor sell your personal information to anyone.

If and to the extent it is necessary for the provision of the Services, PortaLinks may transfer your Personal Information to, and your Personal Information will be collected, processed and used by, other companies of the PortaLinks group (subsidiary and associated companies of PortaLinks) or third parties (such as your PortaLinks Agent), however, in each case only if, to the extent and for as long as permitted under applicable law. Otherwise, will not disclose your Personal Information to any third party unless we are reasonably requested by law enforcement or where we need to disclose to a supplier in order to provide the Service.
We may use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics on our website to monitor, analyze and report on the use visitors make of our website. Such data enable us to track down where there may be errors in our websites and to determine how we can improve your user experience on our website.
All personal information provided by you is stored at Softswitch data storage. We use industry-standard Secure Socket Layer software to protect the security of your personal information during transmission, which encrypts the information you input. We provide physical and technological barriers to our storage of Personal Information and limit access to employees who need your information to assist you. Accordingly your Personal Information will be accessed and or used by the following categories of recipients: Customer Care, Network Operations Center, Marketing and System Administration.

The Service integrates third party information directly and by links. PortaLinks does not have influence over the way in which the providers of linked websites make use of the information shown on these pages. Marketing

The processing of personal data for marketing purposes is carried out in accordance with the requirements of national legislation implementing the Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive (2002/58/EC). Occasionally we may contact you with information about other PortaLinks products and services which we think may be of interest to you but will only do so when you have given your prior consent to being contacted in this way. If you no longer wish to receive marketing information, or if you have a specific preference for the communication channels we use to inform you please contact us by e-mail or at the address listed below.

Cookies

This service works best if your browser has cookies enabled. The cookies enable us to automatically recognize valid access credentials in subsequent visits and identify previous language preference. If you buy access to the PortaLinks Service that allows you to log in multiple times, our cookies will remain active until the expiration of your access code, up until one year from purchase date.

You can change the settings of your browser to either make a warning appear on the screen before a cookie is saved or to prevent cookies from being set. You are free to accept or reject the advantages of personal cookies.

On our website, we may use Google Remarketing service. Advertisements may appear for users who have already visited our website in the past. Google Remarketing uses cookies for this evaluation. PortaLinks will ensure that your information is transferred in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Your rights

We respect your privacy rights and provide you with reasonable access to the personal data that you may have provided through your use of our services. If you wish to access, amend or delete any personal data we hold about you, you may contact us. At your request, we shall have any reference to you deleted or blocked in our database.
You have a right to request a copy of the personal information PortaLinks holds about you (we may charge a small administrative fee for this) and to have any inaccurate information about you corrected. You have a right to obtain from Portalinks restriction of data processing and right to data portability.

All the requests shall be processed within one month of receipt of the request with the exception of complex requests when this period may be extended by two further months (PortaLinks may request the provision of additional information necessary to confirm the identity of the requestor).

You also have the right to request we stop using your details for marketing activities and other promotional activities.
